Verenium
Verenium is the first public company to have the capabilities to create and produce cellulosic ethanol and other biofuels.
Created from a merger of two companies, we created a name for the new entity that promotes the idea of the "green millenium" .
The tagline, "The Nature of Energy" derives meaning from the natural, renewable biomass used in the ethanol and the idea of this being intrinsic to future energy production.
The logo evokes the idea of infinity, of natural elements (leaves) and of the enzyme technology that is the core of their science.
Verenium's web site builds on the visual brand established with the logo and annual report, and features a video introduction that makes the case for cellulosic ethanol.
