Center for Cardiovascular Genomics

CVGC brings together patient data from the Boston Heart Foundation and research facilities from the Harvard/ MIT Health Sciences and Technology center (HST), to conduct research into the genomic causes of heart disease. Our challenge was to create an identity that was anchored in the prestigious academic institutions with which CVGC was associated, but communicated the cutting-edge nature of the science involved. A combination of a classic typographic ligature for the CVGC, combined with the movement in the heart symbol achieves this aim.
