ChipWrights specializes in the design, development, and marketing of a new class of programmable chips to work in the image processing market. This includes applications in digital cameras and video, office automation, image processors and wireless communication.The name of the company reflects the play on the word "Shipwright", a highly-skilled craftsman who builds ships.Their technology is approached with a similarly high level of craft and care. We integrated the image of a sailboat with the feel of chip layouts to emphasize this connection. This identity appears in Logo 2002.
